It is funny because this season seems as if it is very hard to predict. After watching the games last night they were all very close. But I think the one team that will be the threat and they are a team that isn't the most talked about and that is the Devils. Ever since Elias came back they slowly started to pick it up. Thats why I think they will win the cup this year. Ottawa with out the dominater will not win.

the first round itself is very difficult to predict I think. I mean, any one team could possibly eliminate any other during this years playoffs. It's going to be a great set of Stanley Cup playoffs, that's for sure. Not as exciting as the NHA though........

I kind of think it might be Calgary vs San Jose and Ottawa vs New Jersey in the Conference Finals.

What is going on with the stars and canes. losing both their home games. Even the Flyers losing 8-2 that was horrible. The west I think will be the wings, Avs, Ducks and sharks that advance. Then in the east. Lightning, Habs, Devils, Sabers. This season is just to hard to predict.

We drafted Ryan Kesler instead of Corey Perry and Shawn belle, Umberger instead of Woywitka.... But we did sorta draft the Sedins! It can't be worst than Rejean Houle when he draft Eric Chouinard instead of Marian Hossa

What a strange first round so far. I mean who whould have suspected that the Flyers would get hammered 8-2. I'm also shocked that both the Hurricanes and Stars are down 2-0 in their series. The Stars I figured would be a team to contend with in the West, but Turco seems to be letting them down again this year in the playoffs.
Sure are lots of goals being scored though!

I watched some of the Dallas game last night and I would hardly call it all Turco's fault....his team needs to step up their game too.
Anyone watching Ottawa dominate the Lightning so far tonight?

It makes a huge difference with Havlat back eh ? My predictions tonight are Sharks , Wings, Ducks. You went 1-for-3 (or 2-for-4 if you picked Ottawa). A couple of teams are in tight for their games tonight (actually, I think all of the games are big tonight) because if Carolina, Philly, Dallas and NY lose one more, I'd pretty much write them all off (especially Philly, who are being dominated by Buffalo).

Well, I'd say it's becoming a safe bet that NY and Dallas are going golfing soon.
