The other night, i was watching the Leafs/Rangers game and Sean Avery started trash talking Jason Blake and the Leafs during the pre-game warmup. He actually gave Blake a shove and then finally Darcy Tucker stepped in and both he and Avery started scuffling.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Avery has behaved in such a way. A few games back he pulled the same sort of antics when the Rangers were playing the Devils. Once again During the pre-game warmup, Avery started trash talking Martin Brodeur in much the same way.
Is it just me, or does Avery have absolutely no respect for any player in the league? One of these days, some player is going to really clean his clock and he'll wonder why. Either that or he'll turn and run like he seems to do quite a bit.
Are there any players in the NHL that really get on your nerves?

I find it ironic that the "pests" of the league are the ones that everyone loves to hate. Don't get me wrong, as I am believe that if you want to trash talk players on the ice you better be able to back it up. I, along with majority of the league can honestly say players like Tootoo, Avery, Tucker, Cooke, Neil, and others you can list as "pests".
With that said, I think that Avery has slowed down from previous years and I personally like what he brings to the table minus the disrespectful image he has. I would want him on my team if he knew how to shut his mouth.

Crosby- every game there is something Shakespeareian. There is just no need for all that drama from a top player.
Runners up: Erk Cole, Corey Perry.
