Yes... this was a rather lengthy and time consuming way of saying that Crosby's got the Art Ross locked up! I figure with an 8 point lead this late in the season... he's gotta have this one on lockdown...

If anyone could catch him though, it would be Thornton. He has the ability to gather multiple points in a game.

I remember last year when Jagr was head of Thornton by like 6 or 7 points with 2 games to go.
Thornton then went on to score 9 points in 2 games to win the Art Ross by 2 points.
If anyone can do it, Jumbo Joe can.
With that said though I still don't see him catching up with Crosby.

It's pretty amazing when you think about it. Here is a guy (Crosby) who is only in his second season in the NHL and will in all likely hood win the Art Ross Trophy. The really scary part is that he will only get better has he matures and gains more NHL experience.
