Now it's not my intention to earn brownie points with our assistant commissioner, but I don't see any other team in the playoffs being able to defeat this juggernaut Vampyres team.
1st on the power-play with 22.88% rating. 5th on penalty-kill with 85.12% rating. 8 players with more then 20 goals and 1 player who leads the league in assists.
This team is going to be a force in the playoffs.

Agreed, I just hope I can put off playing them until the Conference Finals...

It bothers my to see the Vampyres doing so well this season with the rivalry we have, but credit must be given for this teams performance. They are the perfect balance of scoring, defense, experience and leadership.
I expect that Chris will take this club on a long playoff run.

Seriously? Does anyone really think they can compete with the offense that the Eagles have at their disposal. Hossa, Ovechkin, Havlat, Gaborik. wow

Okay Daniel, it would be interesting to see a revised analysis, now that the matchups are pretty much set.
Canadian Conference: 1 Vampyres vs 8 Remparts 2 Hitmen vs 7 Gladiators 3 Ice Dragons vs 6 Canucks 4 Storm vs 5 Wildcats
American Conference 1 Warriors vs 8 Bandits 2 Muskies/Purple Aces vs 7 Phantoms 3 Eagles vs 6 Purple Aces/Muskies 4 Whalers vs 5 Panthers

Once the games are finished tomorrow, I'll do a more in depth one and post highlights on the forum, I'm hoping for a Canadian upset, cause otherwise it would be a 1-4 matchup in Canadian and that doesn't bode well for me.

I've finished 6 series, and will most likely have them done by tonight, but they are pretty detailed, so I might just email them. So far 2 series are incredibly close, where home ice has pretty much pushed the winner to win.

I know this was started a while back but I cant believe the Fleet weren't mentioned at all!!! I know I'm not a POWERHOUSE like the Vampyres, but I can't be too terrible not to be in the predictions...

This is from last season....I think you'd get more respect this season (you've played well against my team, so we don't underestimate you).
