Let's make it so we play more often than every 3 days? Apparently some times I dont play for 3-4 straight days Unless of course you intend it to be like this, I am just assuming you're going with the flow of it, Commish?

if we go too fast we will have too many injuries unless he lowers the fatigue

Fatigue wouldn't factor in to increasing the simming, as it looks like it could be possible to just sim 2 days worth of pre-season games each night....with the new gm editor it is possible to set your lines in advance if you have back-to-back games.

You don't even need to have back to back games. You can set your lines for the next 10 games reguardless of whether they span the next two weeks or next two months.

I'm all for speeding things up during the exhibition schedule so that we can start the regular season quicker. But I also understand that Chris and Mike wanted to take things a little slow in case any tweaks to the settings are needed. They are after all a couple of STHS virgins.

i say 2 sims a day 5 days a week and 1 sim on the weekends i think this will be the best way to put it I been in leagues where they have 2 sims a day and I think its great or I mean I am in some leagues that have 2 sims a day lol and everyone loves it

Extra sims equal extra work for Mike, and with all he does already, I really feel it is up to him. GM's who have been around a while, know this is a top shelf league, and I am happy with what ever schedule Mike wants.

I can't imagine how we would simulate for then one day's worth of games every day. During the regular season Mike posts an most every night after the games are posted. Will we now expect him to post two articles per day.
It's also my understanding that the guys want to keep the league approximately two years back of the NHL, giving teams better chances of success when drafting. If we start running through the regular season to fast, then we will quickly catch up to and pass the NHL seasons.
Not a good idea if you ask me

As far as the regular season is concerned, we have always been a league that simulates one days worth of games per day. We've found that GM's get more enjoyment out of the regular season this way and it prevents us from becoming one of those leagues that rushes towards the start of the playoffs. We do have certain times during the regular season when we have multiple sim days which are normally known as hockey day in Canada or hockey day in the U.S.
I am going to start simming multiple days worth of games during the preseason now that the 'today's games' bug seems to have been fixed.
